GOAL SETTING

Goals?
  • Goals are the ends toward which we direct our effort
  • Goals are the things we want to achieve 
  • Important because it keep us motivated
Characteristic 
  • Goal should be self chosen
  • Goals should be moderately challenging
  •  Goals should be realistic 
  • Goals should be measurable  
  • Goals should be specific
  • Goals should be finite 
  • Goals should be positive 
Long and short-term goals
  • Long-term goals are the objective you for the end of the year or even for lifetime
  • Short-term goals can set fro an hour from now, for the end of the day or for month.
9 tips for the start of semester 
  • Be selective in choosing classes 
  • Go to classes an take notes.
  • Keep up with your reading assignment 
  • Find and create a good study environment
  • Set realistic grade goals
  • Study for exams by writing and reciting 
  • Learn to predict exam questions
  • When in the examination, stay calm and understand the questions given
  • Go to college learning when you need helps
