WEEK 5 - INTEGRATED CUMULATIVE GRADE POINT AVERAGE (ICGPA)

Hye there! Today i'm going to tell you how to calculate your ICGPA. This lecture about the ICGPA was held in Dewan kuliah 1. Every semester, students receive a GPA based on the grades they earned in all their courses during that semester. 



HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR ICGPA



Course status
  • LU: Pass
  • F1 : First time fail
  • F2 : Second time fail
  • F3 : Third time fail
  • PD: Credit transfer
  • PC: Credit exemption
  • IL : Incomplete 
  • UD: Audit
  • XX: Absent from examination with permission
  • YY: Absent from examination without permission
  • ZZ: Is not allowed to sit for examination
Incomplete status (TL)
  • A TL status is for the courses such as project exercise/practical training which is not completed within a specific term.
  • Cannot be more than one. If the student does not complete the assigned exercise/practical training within specific time given, they will be given an F grade or fail.
  • Any student with TL status is required to register as a student by paying fees and registering for the course.
UNSATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE 
  • Unsatisfactory performance for the under observation status (P)
  1. P1: First observation - The HPNG obtained is within the range of 1.80 to 2.00
  2. P2: Second observation - The HPNG obtained is less than 2.00 after obtaining a P1 in the last                                             semester
FAIL AND TERMINATION STATUS (D)
  • D1: HPNG less than 1.80
  • D2: HPNG less than 1.80 after the P1 status
  • D3: HPNG less than 2.00 after the P1 status 
  • D4: Fail in a certain course for the third time 
  • D5: Maximum study period attached
  • D6: Maximum passed the entire course required by the programme and satisfied the                          programme requirement but the HPNG obtained is less than 2.00
  • D7: Did not sit for all the course examinations without university consent
